Access to the PAST creates the foundation for DREAMS of the FUTURE

Preserve, Interpret, Promote

In 2023 the Cultural Archive of Modern Paganism (CAMP) incorporated as a non-profit entity to be able to continue the work started with the Wiccan Church of Minnesota in 2020.

Within its first year CAMP formed a Board of Directors, adopted by-laws, was granted 501c(3) status, and received two Legacy Amendment grants from the Minnesota Historical Society.

Through our efforts we have continued to work towards our goals to better preserve the past and serve our community.

Current Projects

CAMP is working on two projects made possible in part by the people of Minnesota through a grant funded by an appropriation to the Minnesota Historical Society from the Minnesota Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.

Next Steps

We endeavor to create a searchable database of cultural information to broaden the understanding of contemporary Paganism for both researchers and the public. To do this our work includes the collection of oral histories, active research on topics related to our community, and the preservation of its historic and culturally significant materials. We currently are working to develop the infrastructure to meet this goal.

In Order to Grow

The purpose of CAMP’s work is to serve as a resource to academia, researchers, and the Pagan community. We currently are working to develop the infrastructure to meet this goal.
